ELAFLON EFD and EFS |

"Blue-White-Red" universal hose for all chemical and petroleum based products as well as solvents (see resistance chart overleaf). Ideal for foodstuff, drinking water etc.
Temperature range from -30° to +100° C. Burst pressure >50 bar. - Corresponds to EN 12115 and the German safety standard TRbF 131/2.
Electrical resistance < 10 Ohm when connecting the metallic reinforcements. When connected only through conductive cover and bolted or pinned clamps < 106 Ohm. Steaming out for cleaning and sterilisation permissable up to 130° C max. 30 minutes (open system).

Applications
As suction and discharge hose for barrels, containers, tank wagons and tankers. The steel helix ensures that the hose keeps in shape during suction and gravity operations.

Hose construction
Tube: Fluoropolymer ELAFLON, white, smooth bore. No liquid soluble matter, non - discolouring and non - hardening. Non - electrically conducting.Reinforcement: Two textile braids with tinned copper strands. Type EFS additionally with galvanised steel helix Cover: Chloroprene (CR), black, smooth, electrically conducting. - Ozone resistant and flame proof. |
